R.I.P. David Johansen, the last surviving original member of the New York Dolls. After fronting the iconic glam punk band in the early ‘70s, the NYC musician found mainstream success in the late ‘80s, scoring the hit “Hot Hot Hot” as Buster Poindexter and acting in the movie ‘Scrooged.’ He was 75.

It’s impossible to fathom the devastation caused by the Eaton fire. The entire neighborhood a few blocks north is just gone. So much of Altadena is just gone. Please keep this place in your heart and contribute to reputable disaster relief orgs and Habitat for Humanity. Rebuild Altadena.
