It comes down to zero digital competition. Sony can price their games at whatever they want, no one is going to undercut them in the digital space. Physical copy’s will ALWAYS be cheaper. Especially when I can go on Facebook Marketplace or Mercari and get a game for $5, $10, $15 below retail.
