Marvel Rivals is interesting from a gamedev perspective because the input method (mouse/kb VS controller) changes the genre. Rivals on controller is a wacky hero-brawl with tactical mobility and AoE zoning. Rivals on mouse/KB is a peak-a-boo cover shooter; more akin to Valorant.
