Here are a few photos of the biggest two finished vases. #illustrated #pottery

Just some finished fired things for April. Working on getting photos and just waiting on some stickers to arrive before the email newsletter goes out. #illustration #pottery

Just a few things I’ve been up to… like painting mugs, working on stickers

Just a couple of finished spider items #illustrated #pottery

Before & after #pottery

Working on lots of smaller mugs where the design wraps the whole way around, and some other random stuff I’ve been making. #pottery #flowerillustration

Just another round of older work since I don’t have anything new fired just yet. Here are some things I’ve made in the past couple of years. #painted #art

Here are some new various bowls and plates I’ve been working on. As you can probably tell I’m excited for Spring. #illustratedpottery

Working on painting some hand built vases currently. Only completely finished painted the big one so far, you can see the back side in photo two. Have a little bit left to do on the small one and I’ll probably spend today finishing up the one on the left. #handbuiltpottery #painted #paintedpots

Just a few photos of things I made around this time last year while I work on painting new things. #throwback #springpottery

Just the last grouping of finished mugs….working on new stuff for April now.

Made some bowls with foam flowers for some added texture. #handbuiltpottery

Here’s the finished reading cat experiment. I’d love to make a whole bunch more with different comfy chairs and animal readers, I’d also change up the way I made the books a bit. I rushed the bisque fire and despite a long preheat my chair exploded but I was able to get it together enough to paint

Some of the sixty two new regular sized bells. #ceramicbells #characters

Here are the oversized witch bells, and a photo of them before firing. I worked on some new hand built things on Tuesday and Wednesday including a few more oversized bells. #bells #claybells

Latest finished stack of plates #illustrated

Built a little wooden stand for my Lenox spice houses (the reissues) and adding yesterday’s river glass finds to my glass lamp. #mudlarking #riverglass #lenoxspicehouses

Despite the cold had to get out and do some river’s edge exploring today #mudlarking #mudlarkingpgh

Just a few mugs, waiting on the kiln cooling down right now so I can unload some more..

A weird thing I had an idea to make that I have worked on with cord, wire, yarn and taken apart again after each. Still deciding how I’m going to go forward on this project, but I have a new idea to try with fabric involved.

Just some little mushroom spoon rests…. Can’t wait to start seeing all the bugs & bees around my garden again. #handmade

I wasn’t able to fit all the mugs I had made into the last kiln load, so I’m busy painting more mugs do I can fill the kiln up again. Here are a few that made it into the last firing. #mugs #illustratedpottery

A finished kiln unload, lots of bells! #kilnunloading #illustrated

Current nightly knitting with some of my handspun yarn #yarn #handspun

Back at painting bisque after being sick with the flu that seems to be everywhere. I still have an annoying lingering cough, but I am glad to be back to working on pottery. I made these two extra large witch bells this time around and still have a few more regular sized bells to paint #pottery

Working on bells & spoon rests and experimenting with painting gingham #bells #pottery #illustrated

Just some of the stuff I’ve been working on. A wooden tray I got to create some pottery forms from, but then felt like it was too large so I painted it with some house paint we had leftover from making the holiday wood cut outs, then new garden flags, and little hanging art from my shop

Just working on regular stuff like bells & mugs, and then just a few crazy ideas I needed to try out…. #greenware

Working on a new ceramic piece that mixes my illustrated ceramic tray with vintage pottery pieces I’ve found along the various Pittsburgh river & creek banks. In the second slide you can see another plate I made that now hangs on our dining room wall. #mosaic #mudlarking #mudlarkingpittsburgh

Dystopian climate fiction novella I enjoyed in January, that I had not heard of before but was recommended by my library (from 2021 so a little bit backlist?) planning to start the follow up book this week #booksky #clifi

Some Spring like mugs for these 6 more weeks of winter. #spring #springmugs

A few cozy scene mugs that are off to new homes #pottery #illustrated

Just a little before and after #pottery

Sent out my email newsletter this morning. Just a heads up that it’s now coming from “[email protected]” instead of gmail. Here’s a few happy bugs & flowers on what is a cold day here.

Spent the day taking + editing photos, then broke my website for a little bit while editing something. Hoping to get the email newsletter sent out tomorrow morning.

Almost cool enough to unload the kiln… #pottery

I haven’t been able to use the Bluesky app since I posted that video yesterday (I did send an email) and have tried deleting and reinstalling app a few times, just shuts down as soon as I open it. I did figure out a work around for now (posting via browser) here’s what I’ve been working on

It’s been so cold and snowy here so I’m really looking forward to Spring this year. Not only for the gardening, but getting back to searching the river banks for pottery to make more mosaic pieces like this tray. #mudlarking

Just working on mugs/shoveling snow/then back to mugs…bracing for some crazy low temps this coming week. I’ll be in the basement studio (in front of the heater) working on mugs 😬

Just a few older photos to get started here
