My third-favorite thing at Aulani is the rocks. Like AK's Tree Of Life, there are surprise animals carved into all of the rock/lava formations. Some are easy, some are hard, and all are amazing. Generally, if you see anything round and off-colored, it's an eye — then go on from there.

The gnarly burlwood posts that Walt Disney purchased on a trip to Colorado (?) and installed in front of the Shooting Gallery have long been replaced by fiberglass replicas, but what about the one inside the Trading Post? Looks real to me! Somehow I’ve overlooked this artifact all these years!
