My ggrandfather was a decorated war hero in WWI-- He firmly believed that would save him when the nazis came for the other jews. He was wrong, and he ended up in the camps. Luckily, his children had all gone into hiding by that time, and survived.

After the con, I'll publish the slides for anyone interested in using secure software development to prevent a fictional AI from killing fictional astronauts.
