Working on a tool to generate public, interactive Minecraft ore distribution statistics plots for a given map.

Want to remake packwiz in Python since packwiz is developmentally dead Read CurseForge API ToS No caching allowed CurseForge Large binaries No caching

Holy shit, the EA sale on Steam is nuts. The way they're laying off entire studios and selling stuff at 90% off makes this look like a fire sale. Sim City 3000 for a few bucks is NUTS. (Sorry for everyone getting laid off, hope you're able to find work.)

Man, people really get angry about a tiny landshark in an online computer game #MarvelRivals

Thinking of calling up my biological mom and having her make a shitpost on linkedin announcing that she's releasing a new artificial intelligence designed to make passable video games and just link to my resume

Anyone else struggling to get @seleniumhq.bsky.social chromedriver to bring a window to the front under wayland/KDE? I've tried the minimize-maximize trick, the alert() trick, and the switch_to window method. Need it for external tooling.

Excused from jury duty, escaped a hellish 2-day DV case. Defense sounds like they're gonna hinge everything off of a witness changing their story, so wasn't looking forward to that. I'm free, bitches.

Moving office NAS from 150GB platter drive to 1TB SSD. #server #it #kubuntu Sorry for cell pic but I'm not setting up buffer on a Ventoy liveusb.

Massive (68%) cut to NASA astrophysics proposed in WH budget. If this stands, it's the end of American pre-eminence in space science. arstechnica.com/space/2025/0...

Someone made a fucky wucky with their templates.

Today, March 27th, is Uni’s 5th birthday! Thank you for coming into my life. Please say "Happy Birthday Uni" to him! :3

Shit is hitting the fan here Current Status: Thunderbolts and lightning, very very frightening

Yoshi finally reached GM 3 in #MarvelRivals! GJ love

Looks like ChilloutVR's been busy while I've been away. #VR

I legitimately love how all the social #VR games are coming up with silly names for their custom audio solutions after #ChilloutVR rolled out BBC™ after the mandatory CBT.

I wrote a Python script to parse Go and output OpenAPI 3. What the fuck am I doing.

Initial OpenAPI docs for itch.io are up at buff.ly/4c86zGX Please be aware that I have not yet verified the Wharf endpoints, just sucked them out of go-itchio. They should be okay, but I've already found some discrepancies.

My project to document itch.io's API is bearing fruit: I can now download stuff without using butler. This was the original aim of the project: Downloading stuff from itch for use in a CI script.

Yoshi and I played some Helldivers 2 with some friends. I was rusty as hell and Yoshi is new, but we had fun. Fun fact: a year of backlogged medals bugs out the UI.

I'm going to start reverse-engineering itch.io's public API that it uses to communicate with butler and its desktop client. Then I'm going to document it using OpenAPI. Why? I'm bored.

Read through Terry Pratchett's Hogfather again on the couch while listening to the massive windstorm here in WA. Cozy. #wawx

Important #MarvelRivals historical moment.

I'm going to fucking screech

We're stoked to introduce the 'No Gen AI' seal for indie games! Indie devs can use it on their game's store page to assure potential players that their game was made without the use of Generative AI. You can grab it from the Polygon Treehouse website:- www.polygon-treehouse.com/no-gen-ai-seal

Had my three-year checkup on my surgery and all was well. No longer have to see that specialist on a regular basis. Went through 3 different specialists before this one and none of them fixed the problem, and the procedure is extremely painful, so I'm glad that's off my belt.

I wish I was better at comforting people.

And that's it, end of the two weeks, end of an era. Really enjoyed working for Alpha Blend Interactive. Wish them well in the future. #gamedev #ChilloutVR
