I sometimes feel bad for leaving people on read when they come at me with profiles with following many but few followers, no content or posts of opinionated thought or emotion, just tons of reposts of other people's art. They look like scam/bots. In the back of my mind, "but what if they are real?"

FYI Scammers have hit Bluesky! Just a note to folks: don’t get sucked in by too-good-to-be-true offers. There’s a few scams like this (mostly phishing related). If they were legit, there’s no reason KoFi wouldn’t have been fine. I knew they WEREN’T, but I strung them along cuz it’s funny to me :3

Be sure to use Sky Follower Bridge to follow people you follow on X, and you can also use '/followers_you_follow' into the X url after your username if you only want mutuals. Be sure to go to BSky Settings > App Passwords to create one for the plugin so you don't give out your real password.

With all of us coming here to Bluesky, we are all essentially hitting a big reset button. Twitter promoted a lot of toxic unhealthy traits in the pursuit for clout thanks to its awful algorithm. Here, those toxic fucks don't have an algorithm to push their bullshit. This is a huge chance for us.
