Other topic. My mom’s family came from Ireland… or so we thought. Upon visiting Ireland years ago a local who knew families that lived beside ours for eons said the Phillips orig came from Wales. Which, in my mind, explains some of our very old, cherished recipes. I’ll get there someday (I hope!)

We have so many problems at this point I don’t even know how to list them in order of importance. Every day is an exclamation point that we are falling very fast into a very bad situation. But… millions of us are fighting. Wish us luck.

Those are your aspirations so that makes sense. My comments are founded in frustration that millions of Americans sat out this last election because - protested policies by non-voting or the candidates didn’t “perfectly” fit their ideal (they never will). And now we have this … dystopia.

But the prison let in GOP officials to pose in front of them… one of the most despicable, hateful things I have ever seen. I’ve felt sick since I’ve seen it.

Between this, the men sent to El Salvador, the GOP officials POSING in front of these prisoners cutting off all education funds to Maine because there are TWO trans kids….. it IS evil. How far and fast we have fallen.

When I was 6 we were visiting family in the Worcester area. My 18 yr old cousin took me to the Hebert Candy Mansion in her cool little Volkswagen . bug. She told me there was a surprise. When I walked in, I saw 6 foot tall, chocolate bunny. Thanks for giving me a chance to relive that lovely memory!

McKennaBeach… we stumbled on this treasure one day on a pleasure drive from our resort, the Grand Wailea . It was gorgeous and I thank you for reminding me of that lovely memory ❤️

It’s fine w/ me that you disagree, but, here’s the bottom line. DEMS have not been out front fighting. Polls show it. They can’t do what they do in normal times because we may never have normal times again.
