from a digital art series i did a few years ago.

BREAKING: WVU student Ali Sohail was falsely charged with a crime in 2023. The Trump administration cited the false charge when revoking his legal status earlier this month, plunging his life into chaos. We just filed a federal lawsuit on his behalf. We'll see the administration in court. Again.

image i made a long time ago. it was an idea for a billboard. at the time, it wasn't well received. i may only have the digital copy at this point. watercolor.

my favorite flower probably because they are so small and often overlooked but they are really quite lovely. delicate and vivid.

April 24, 1970 "Question" by The Moody Blues was released as a single in the United Kingdom. #ClassicRock #RockNRoll #ClassicVinyl #MusicSky youtu.be/-wDHvmCVRxU?...

picked up this book from store in Tennessee. my artwork (and so, so many other people's) is published in it. I like the thought of my work being scattered hither and yon like that.

also (I can't let it go) the reason RFK Jr is so amazed that people have these "exotic injuries" is because he comes from a time when people who were neurodivergent, differently abled, were hidden, cloaked in secrecy and treated with shame instead of given respect and autonomy as independent humans

Ok none of those things are injuries first off it appears there are a lot of things RFK Jr has never heard of, including a dictionary

art is not just creating an image. art is problem solving. it's trying different perspectives. it's emotional identification and articulation. art is the medium that helps either visualize the world you were in, or the world you want. be wary of those who move to censor or devalue the art.

but wv is so great, right? we really take care of each other here www.herald-dispatch.com/_zapp/morris...

It's time to delete your smart watch or health/fitness wearable data if you have not already. Even if you are not autistic. www.cbsnews.com/news/rfk-jr-...

strange day, strange events

this is not a void I will not scream into it

nothing like looking through medical reports and reading what past doctors have written about you

how can it already be one of those days when it's barely even started

this part especially 🤡

I tried this. The results were entertaining. A bit on the nose actually, even the 🤡 part :P

paperclips tend to show up wherever I go.

On the occasion of current world events, I have decided to display a paperclip 📎 on my profile as a symbol of resistance against Nazism and fascism, as used in Norway 🇸🇯 during World War II. "Norway's Nonviolent Resistance in WWII: The Power of a Paperclip 📎" Part 1: www.fff.org/explore-free...

I don't speak much about my own experience as a parent of a child with autism because I'd be speaking on the experience of another person as well. What I will say is that the statements made by RFK Jr are so ill-informed, so backward they don't even deserve acknowledgment. He is, in every way, wrong

Over my 40-year career I’ve noted the vast majority of parents of kids diagnosed with #autism worry, especially early on, that something they did caused it to happen. They didn’t. But this nonsense spewed by RFK Jr. is going to put that distress right back on parents again. It’s tragic and ignorant

I can't listen to RFK Jr talk about anything, much less autism. He sounds like Cookie Monster. If Cookie Monster went off the rails and decided to have a hate for everyone that wasn't rich white and privileged

Stafford was a concise, clear writer of thoughtful, observant and brief poems that evoke many thoughts with just a handful of sentences. His anti-war poems especially hit different now.

William Stafford has long been one of my favorite poets

one of my favorite bands since high school

"There is always hope" - Banksy artwork I have a large print of this in my office. It helps sometimes.

an affirmation for you. say it, if you can, looking into the mirror to anchor the statement. you belong here.

I have kept this basket of fidgets replenished and freely available (take one with you) since my internship. don't knock it till you've tried it- they work.

Certainly worth repeating in the times we are in..

:talking to myself: set small, measurable goals. small, measurable goals. slow and steady is still forward.

I've been charged with the mission of writing out positive affirmations on slips of paper for next week. I didn't look at the paper too closely before I bought it. Obviously this paper will be not usable

My friends and I loved this song in high school. We were so idealistic. not on speaking terms with some of those friends now. we turned out to have extremely different values and ideas about humanity. ironic and sad. or disappointing. something, I don't have the right words.

Perioidic reminder that the reason you didn't see autistic people with intellectual disabilities on the street five decades ago was not because they didn't exist. It's because they were sent away to institutions and their parents were told to put away pictures of them.
