I have #covid - it’s so Christmas 2020

so how well do you know Dick Whittington? See if you can beat BBC Radio 2's OJ Bourg at Midnight Mastermind with Greenwich Theatre's James Haddrell... www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/... (introduced 24 mins into the programme). LET ME KNOW HOW WELL YOU DO....!

#whamageddon To be fair, it was risky asking Alexa to play Christmas songs whilst I was putting up the Christmas tree. Mince pie seal now broken too. All feels a bit too early.

Off to Percy Jackson and the lightening Thief at The Other Palace with my soon to be 10 year old Percy Jackson expert. Big night out up London Town!

"Once again, Greenwich Theatre proves that you don’t have to be the biggest, flashiest or rudest #panto to be the coolest cats in town". Read our full review of Dick Whittington below: [Press tickets - Thank you to @nancypoolepr.bsky.social] www.thefamilystage.co.uk/2024/12/03/r...

"Greenwich Theatre has another festive fit on its hands" ★★★★ Penny reviews Dick Whittington and his Cat: tinyurl.com/mr3nxb2c

Small boys’ + my diary looking good - Percy Jackson (The Other Palace), Dick Whittington & his Cat (Greenwich Theatre, pictured), BYMT’s LET IT SNOW! (Shoreditch Town Hall), Cinderella (@chichesterft.bsky.social ) and The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe ( Leeds Playhouse). Hope to get to Catford too

We all enjoyed watching 1994 movie Stargate on the telly over the weekend. Remember that one? Anyone seen any of the multiple spin offs? Not sure I'll bother with those... www.youtube.com/watch?v=c3sg...

So I enjoyed Paddington in Peru this weekend. But I didn't think it was very good. My kids couldn't get their heads around that dichotomy. Next outing to the movies will be The Wild Robot.

@theatreandtonic.bsky.social YES - it is The Slits' Typical Girls that kicks off CLUB LIFE at Omnibus! What an eclectic playlist thereafter. (AND interestingly the 2nd show I've worked on featuring The Slits music, after @mogster.bsky.social wonderful @cleanbrk.bsky.social play Typical Girls!)

Thanks @theatreandtonic.bsky.social for sharing Danai to be a 'part of' Club Life. Thrilled she had such a good time. We very much share her wish to see it on a 'larger scale, perhaps in bigger venues'. When that happens, do come back Danai. theatreandtonic.co.uk/blog/club-li... *****

I think everyone at a performance of Club Life feels part of a super special community so I am genuinely delighted that Dan (part of my 'community' on Weds night!) loved this so much. Thanks for covering @allthatdazzles.bsky.social x

Thanks to the reviews popping up on my feeds for Going for Gold at the Park Theatre, I can't get rid of this ear worm. Kind of nostalgic. (I did have to double-check the play isn't about Henry Kelly and a bunch of pan-European quiz contestants) www.youtube.com/watch?v=8-7r...

Took myself out of another comfort zone yesterday to take some Dick pics (for Greenwich Theatre's Dick Whittington and his Cat) yesterday. The production is looking exquisite.

I am pushing myself out of my comfort zone to say hello BlueSky. If you know me #IRL (or are one of my double, maybe just triple, figure followers on other platforms) you'll know I am not at home on The Socials. BUT this seems like a nice place to (finally) start...
