Books I’ve Read in 2025. - Highly recommend The Eyes Are the Best Part; the exploration of racism is more gruesome than the eye stuff. - Tingle’s horror never misses. Campy and smart. -Dial A for Aunties is trashy, but great fun and has beautiful insights on ESEA family dynamics that were spot on.

I've had 2 experiences of just...tiring comments in the last couple of days. I've had tradespeople come to the house to quote for some work. First guy saw my CNY decorations, and commented that they had a Chinese employee, who 'is very polite! You people are very polite!'

Section 31 is fine as a 'head empty no thoughts' action movie. It's just not Star Trek. And I don't mean that in the Discovery/Picard discourse of Starfleet needing to be hopeful/competent/not crying every five seconds. I mean the entire presentation is just generic sci-fi movie. No unique identity.
