just profoundly disturbed by the kidnapping and disappearing of people right off the streets of this country. hard to think about much else—and there’s so much else.

Hey this thing is still less than 1k comments, please add a comment if you can!!! Its quick and easy, and can be as simple as "Trans healthcare saves lives, do not remove it from ACA coverage". You can even copy paste that. Do it now!!!

Everyone who has been asking me: where are the big protests in #Resistance 2.0, mark your calendars. April 5 is shaping up to be quite the coalition, with @indivisible.org @womensmarch.bsky.social and @50501movement.bsky.social joining forces for the day…details still to come

This is exactly what I have been saying for a while now. At this point, it’s not left vs right that matters, but fighters vs non-fighters. The Dems, and the American people, need fighters.

Appalled by my government. Appalled by my party. Appalled on behalf of DC. Appalled for Canada, for Mexico, and Europe. Appalled for trans friends and scientists and vets and anyone who lives and breathes air and wants their children to inherit the earth and WHEN ARE WE MARCHING, PEOPLE

Who's organizing the massive many-thousands-strong march on Washington DC to save democracy?

99% is a hell of a lot bigger than 1%. Let's fight back! Join the March 14th Veteran protest in Washington, DC #NowDC #14thNOW

TFW every fellowship/scholarship that made my life and career possible are being illegally eliminated - Not The Worst Thing Happening But Still Terrible

Hey, @catherinefraser.info, wouldn’t it be fun to explore how “genius” university students feel about serving in the federal government these days? www.nytimes.com/2025/03/07/u...

Someone I respect told me a story I needed: how someone who had been in the medical tent during the Boston marathon bombings recounted that when the first explosions began, everyone jumped up to run away from the blasts. Everyone except the medical staff, who ran towards it.

The National Science Foundation benefits communities in every state.

It is so distressing that so many don’t recognize what’s being broken. How do we tell that story better? Freeze biomedical research -> no new meds Kill academia -> Lose the jobs Kill USAID -> stoke hate, future terrorists Kneecap EPA -> poisons you Eliminate “Climate” -> climate eliminates

Climate change is not going away. I can forget this in the agony of the current moment, where the loss feels permanent, personal. This matters *because* climate change is not going away. Bless the fighters. New activists, welcome. Former feds, we need you. Builders and dreamers, we need you, too.
