Death. Taxes. Out of Touch White folks who still believe in Bernie Sanders despite never winning a primary in a state with a significant black population.

It’s a different project, but I really wish scholars writing on this would make the link between American conservative beliefs on government as rooted in opposition to civil rights and the opposition against abolition before. “Small” govt has been an excuse for racism for *centuries*

Hold up, ain’t this the dude who has people play Diablo IV and Path of Exile 2 FOR him? Gamer where?

Buddy, them NFL owners are SHOOK of Trump.

A lot of us been on socials long enough to know what Rolling Stone does quarterly in terms of stoking outrage for engagement. And yet we still fall for it. Every. Single. Time.

Social media has made so many imaginary revolutionaries out of people afraid to bust a grape in a food fight

Re: NC State/ Notre Dame. I....think we make fouling up 3 a surer thing than it actually is. Especially in College Basketball.

This, this, this

Since when did The Rock become Shang Tsung?

I truly don't (fully) understand why more ACC teams aren't trying to schedule this way given the reputation of the conference.

Mourning who you thought you were supposed to be is hard. Because it’s not just the death of your hopes and dreams just once, it’s a continual loop reminding you of what you’re not.

The latest episode of the #NBADraft Notebook is live as @kboone.bsky.social and I did a deep dive on #Baylor freshman VJ Edgecombe. 📺 youtu.be/8RZY6Vh_S2w

And risk their access? No chance lol

Eric Collins is a national treasure and it’s a shame he’s not doing national NBA games

Wonder what's the longer list, the coach of the year candidates or the Final Four Dark Horse candidates?

you gotta go nuance for nuance. calling anti-ai sentiment left polarization necessitates a footnote about the tech evangelists being instruments of right wing anti-culture initiatives for years and thinner arts access being a goal of the overarching project.

If it took some of y'all this long to realize....

Kyle Neptune is showing exactly why he shouldn't be the Villanova head coach next season.

“Nobody Cares, Do it in the playoffs” has been a thing for most of my life when it comes to NBA messaging. Until THAT gets fixed, none of your solutions matter.

Reading this, the only thing that goes through my mind is “twice as hard, half as far.”

The whole series ends in Season 1 if Walter White wasn’t so prideful.

Like, some dude on here was trying to stand up for “the common fan”. And it’s like, my dude, the NBA might be getting three million viewers a night from China and other East Asian countries. The idea that the common consumer for the NBA is in the Western Hemisphere might not be accurate anymore.

So yeah, 90% of the reason I hate current “what the NBA should do” conversations is because it’s largely a conversation that largely involves “how do we attract the white gaze” with is one of the two leagues that is largely black and doesn’t deal in helmets.

The last time it was East vs. West fans complained about the lack of effort.

Remove the might. We’d all enjoy sports more if the seasons were shorter and offseasons were longer.

I really hate to say this, but we might be overexposed as sports fans.

The format worked IMO. The problem was the broadcast partner.

The NBA deserves their piece of ownership in this ASG Fiasco, but if we're not going to get really honest about what the Turner broadcast has been about...like...ain't no progress can be made.
