Every time it snows I think of this photo of Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh.

I can't bring myself to uninstall Disco Elysium but if I accidentally open it one more time instead of Discord...

All of the DND alignments can be witnessed at a four-way stop with right of way.

Today, we’re launching the future of Whimsical. 🚀 Meet Projects and Posts—two powerful tools to simplify your workflow, reclaim focus time, and replace chaos with calm. Here’s Steve, one of our co-founders, to give you the first look at Projects and Posts in action: youtu.be/VOQVTL608PU

I gotta say I’m really only here for the denatured chips.

Breaking: Our request for a temporary restraining order for the federal funding freeze was just granted. The freeze is now paused. Our case continues, and the restraining order is in effect until further notice.

It’s pretty cool that books don’t run out of batteries.

For the sake of brunch, can we vaccinate our chickens?

Once I finish reading the stormlight archive series, what will I do for a good arm workout?

The lack of hustle my dog has in the morning is admirable.

For companies working on AI programming automation, how are they handling technical debt as product requirements change? To me, programming is often the easy part. Building something to meet the demands of a product team that changes over time is the real work.

I ever get a chance to work low enough in the stack to work on mobile keyboard input, I wanna make it so that pressing shift on a selection of a word capitalizes it. This is such a pain on mobile.

I enjoy doing timelapses, this Summer I grew pumpkins for the 1st time and put cameras on them to document their growth. Here a pumpkin vine moves as it grows, I find plants to be fascinating and learnt so much from the pumpkin plants which grew to 30ft long and took over 1/3 of the garden.

Give me an MCU with the glorious special effects of Bill and Ted

Whatever is going on with Muppets on here is just outside of my purview like the seedy underbelly of a downtown decorated with holiday lights.

Word on the skeets might be my favorite new phrase.

Going the speed limit is a real power move.

As someone terrible at trivia, I just won a direct to video Blu-ray at trivia night and I am feeling on top of the world.

I made a Clojure starter pack: go.bsky.app/G6nf8K2. Let me know who I missed!

We picked this up at an estate sale and it only has one of two disks. Thankfully we got the top 5 instead of the bottom 5 😆

Recently I’ve been thinking that the time spent writing most tests, doing the extra QA and reconsidering your code, is way more valuable than the tests themselves.

Giving this starter pack thing a try. This one's for North Carolina Politics & government (the artist formerly known as #ncpol) Please let me know if you want to be added (not sure who's on here yet and I only figured out what a starter pack is about an hour ago). go.bsky.app/NRoctWe

Starting book two now and very excited about my new bookmark!

Bluesky is now the #2 social app in the US, Canada, and #3 in the UK 🦋 On bsky, ~30% of y'all are posters compared to the 1% main characters on other platforms. Turns out there's more chattiness & connection when you have algorithmic choice 🤭

Its the day! Twilight Imperium for 10 hours! Well let’s be honest, more like 13. Goals for this session: - have the best costume - don’t get double backstabbed - play for points, not glory

Definitely didn’t want this Dynamic Island WaPo :(

Just sitting here making a carpentry and home repair quote for my DnD campaign (this was the best quote, and they had to go down to the South Ward of Waterdeep to get). All of those noble catering North Ward carpenters charge an arm and a leg.
