Leftists have a problem. They see cooperation as compromise. Nothing could be further from the truth. If we work together on a specific project, that doesn’t mean we can’t disagree on another project. It also doesn’t mean you are endorsing anything beyond the current issue.

What on God’s green earth would lead anyone to believe that Trump has any sophisticated management skills or that he gives a fuck if he ruins people’s lives?

Absolutely.

“…during the war these daily injections likely played a role in propping (Hitler) up as his body weakened under stress, enhancing his charisma, and helping him maintain the illusion that he had secrets that would lead to eventual victory…”

John Lewis would be in jail already.

An expression some friends and I lifted off another situation, or maybe we made it up ourselves, to describe Trumpism. “So many lies, so few surprises.”

I think most people are trying to protect themselves from the pants shitting fear that comes with acknowledging the truth that a narcissist moron has control of our nuclear arsenal, and similar problems. The problem is, if he hits that button the empty and full pants people are equally fucked.

What the fuck is this a union boss doing if he’s just going let companies fire people without cause or reason. Like, why does he exist?

This is a really good point. No where, not at DOGE, not in the White House has anyone spoken of efficiency, what we get in return for each dollar spent. The loss in returns at least partially offsets any “savings.”
