Unlike a government, Twitter provides no service to anyone. Not only that, but erasing X would do more service to humanity than keeping it.

I love you all. I started subscribing [email protected] to email subscriptions and most already have them (and I can’t). I am dead. Good job #resistance.

Calling all feds: new info site please share data and stories! #AltGov #AltFam please share #SaveAmerica #StopTrump trumpcostsamerica.com

If you support this, you’re an awful human being

Democrats should go to all these ruby red and vulnerable GOP districts where voters are upset at Trump and Musk and court them. Full court press.

We just won a court order stopping DOGE and unauthorized, unelected, and unvetted individuals like Elon Musk from accessing people's private data and blocking federal funds. We will keep fighting to protect all Americans from this administration’s destruction.

Wow. DOGE is far more expensive than the USDS that it pretends to be. www.propublica.org/article/doge...

Dear business owners that voted for Trump, You could have had $50K in capital and a robust SBA. Instead, DOGE is cancelling all your government contracts and putting you out of business so he can have the contracts for himself.

This is a good level setter on Elon Musk's phony cost cutting. It's worse than bad math.

DOGE recommended firing workers at: -FDA, which oversees Neuralink -FAA, which oversees SpaceX -USAID, which probed Starlink -CFPB, which oversees Tesla's financing arm and a potential payment platform on X. "Conflict of interest" is a severe understatement.

Imagine being rich enough to do anything you want and choosing to take food and medicine from starving children to give yourself even more money.

Want to go visit the national parks this year? Sorry. The reservation system is shut down, EMT personnel are gone, so don't get hurt or lost. No one can clean the bathrooms or cabins, so they'll be closed. Rangers are fired. www.sfchronicle.com/bayarea/arti...

I joined the good folks at the DC 50501 protest this afternoon and it was a blast. We don't have kings in this country, and we don't bow to billionaires. We don't work for them. They work for us.

This is one gigantic five alarm fire.

“The thing that I can’t get over is that the actual richest man in the world directed my fucking firing. I make $50k a year and work to keep drinking water safe. The richest man in the world decided that was an expense too great for the American taxpayer.”

He’s right again.

There are no words… but this young man found some. Well said.

Over 1,000 people turned out to @doggett.house.gov town hall to voice opposition to Musk and Trump. @austin-statesman.com we need local news to amplify these gatherings @indivisible.org @txprogressives.bsky.social

Our team reviewed the entire DOGE website. Nothing they have identified constitutes evidence of fraud or corruption—both of which are crimes. Feel free to audit us. The funds were allotted by Congress, and OIGs regularly reviewed expenditures for fraud.

Incompetence in Washington puts every American at risk, no matter how you voted. No one should be happy that the DOGE team - the same folks who randomly published classified U.S. security information online today - wants access to your bank account & Social Security numbers.

Make your calls. Go to your town halls. Ask your state and local officials what they are doing under state and local law. Rest. Hydrate. Make soup for the hungry. Don’t let people tell you that you’re doing it wrong. Not a sprint. Not a marathon. A relay. Find your team. Thank you.

This is so insane

This administration has convinced half the country that the real problem isn’t billionaires who evade taxes and collect government handouts but the working class who pay taxes and get nothing in return.

The federal civilian worker payroll totaled $271 billion in 2022. The annual cost of permanently extending Trump's tax cuts that primarily benefited rich individuals? $400 billion. Keep this in mind as Trump and DOGE lay off thousands of federal workers.

NEW: Trump and Musk’s efforts to shrink the government have left the country’s wildland firefighting force unprepared for the approaching wildfire season. One federal employee likened the funding freeze to a “massive sledgehammer” hitting the force.
