A hawfinch (grubodziób) outside my window. I hear them often but I've never seen one so close because they hang out high in the canopy. Looks like this one is building a nest. By the way, the Polish name translates to "thick beak" #bird #birds #nature #naturephotography

An urban seagull on a lamppost. I think it's a black-headed gull (mewa śmieszka) in winter plumage but I suck at identifying seagulls. They have a wintering spot on a pond in a nearby park so I see them daily. #bird #birds #nature #photography
