Let’s see… 🤔 If Trump implements tariffs to fund tax cuts, the timeline would likely unfold as follows: 1. Tariff Announcements (2025 Q1-Q2) – Shortly after taking office, he would introduce or expand tariffs, citing economic and national security reasons.

Trump’s tariffs are a revenue-raising move to justify extending his first-term tax cuts. By claiming tariff income offsets deficits, he can argue tax cuts won’t add to debt. He needs funds to make them happen—there’s no way he won’t push this. Tariffs first, tax cuts next. #Politics #Economy
