The iconic Orbis #Italia90 ring binder 🐐 Didn't know it at the time, but looking back, this 1989 Christmas present was probably the most influential present I ever received as a kid Turned my love of football into an obsession

The Jesus And Mary Chain at NX Newcastle tonight. Brilliant. Gig of the year for me.

The 1982 Adidas Tango. One of the greatest footballs of all time.

Just finished this. Very good.

Another excellent book from David Hepworth.

Enjoyable game at the Brewery Field today. Spennymoor Town 1 Buxton 1 in the National League North.

Say Nothing is the best telly that I've watched for a very long time.

MORRISSEY • Alma Matters It’s my life to ruin My own way [Performance on The Graham Norton Show] We absolutely love this song. #Morrissey

Just finished this excellent book on the era that I first watched football. Only let down by a few noticeable errors (referring to Darlington FC as 'The Shakers' when they're actually 'The Quakers' was one). Apart from that, excellent.

What a great record.

The last 5 concerts you saw: Paul Weller Michael Head & The Red Elastic Band. Johnny Marr. Echo & The Bunnymen. Happy Mondays.

HMS Fable by Shack. First released in 1999. Now available on vinyl for the first time. A true 10/10 lost classic. Happily, singer Mick Head is still making great records with his current outfit The Red Elastic Band. Purchased from Reflex in Newcastle.

George Harrison, Los Angeles, April 1973.

Newcastle United Women 1 Southampton Women 1. First visit to St James' Park for my daughter. Great day out.

Highly recommended. Looking forward to the series now.

Pomegranate by Tess Parks. The new album from the Canadian singer. Really enjoying this. One of my favourite records this year. Reminds me of Brian Jonestown Massacre, Slowdive, Spacemen 3 etc. Purchased from Reflex in Newcastle.
