#StarTrek #Trekisodes 30 Day Challenge Day 29- episode that would make a great movie Balance of Terror - this episode’s masterful storytelling, character work and iconic moments could easily have been expanded into a movie. The amazing lighting, camera work and building tension are cinematic.

#Trekisodes2 30-Day Challenge Day 6: Murf Murf’s mysterious nature is constantly surprising, which is demonstrated in Murf’s unexpected transformation.

#Trekisodes2 30-Day Challenge Day 4: Quark “Frankly, I don't care whether you and Major Kira end up living happily ever after or not. I just want to see the situation resolved. And the way I see it, you've either got to tell her how you feel, or forget about her and get on with your life.”- Quark

#StarTrek #Trekisodes 30 Day Challenge Day 28-episode that confuses you “The Alternative Factor” - when I saw this as a kid, I had no idea what what going on in this episode. I’m not sure I do now.

#StarTrek #Trekisodes 30 Day Challenge Day 27-episode that resonates with you personally Saru’s journey from a life of fear and anxiety to one of empathy, confidence & genuineness resonates with me. “The Brightest Star” "I saw hope, in the stars. It was stronger than fear. And I went towards it."

#Trekisodes2 30-Day Challenge Day 4: Raffi Raffi is a badass. And Vadic’s crew learn this the hard way when they meet her in a corridor, as the Starfleet team work together to take back control of the USS Titan.

“After we’ve discriminated against, deported, or disparaged all the immigrants, the gay and lesbian and transgender people, the developmentally disabled, the women, and minorities. Once we’ve ostracized our neighbors and betrayed our friends… what comes next?” - Gov. JB Pritzker

#Trekisodes2 30-Day Challenge Day 3: Tuvok Neelix made it his mission to get Tuvok to dance before reaching Earth, despite its unlikeliness. When Neelix chooses to leave the crew to rejoin his people, Tuvok says goodbye by subtly wiggling his foot in a dance. “Mr. Neelix. Live long and prosper.”

#StarTrek #Trekisodes 30 Day Challenge Day 26-episode you think is overrated City on the Edge of Forever. Before you come for me, I do absolutely love this episode. I see why it’s always listed as the best episode of TOS, but for me, there are a few others that deserve that esteem just as much.

#Trekisodes2 30-Day Challenge Day 2: Boimler Boimler attempts the Borg Encounter Simulation Drill again & again trying to get a perfect score. “Do it again, hit me!

#Trekisodes2 30-Day Challenge Day 1: Kira Nerys “And if you were dealing with a Starfleet officer, they'd probably admit we have a hopeless cause here. But I am just a Bajoran, who's been fighting a hopeless cause against the Cardassians all her life. So if you want a war, I'll give you one.”

#StarTrek #Trekisodes 30 Day Challenge Day 25- episode you think is underrated Calypso. This short episode is peak Star Trek. “I don't know where you are or exactly what you are... But I know you saved my life, healed my body. You reminded me what it means to be Human...”

#RiftTreks Day 13: Bubbles Garak pops Bashir’s personal bubble when they first meet, but an intriguing friendship develops. Doctor Bashir: You're very kind, Mr. Garak. Garak: Oh, it's just Garak - plain, simple Garak.

#StarTrek #Trekisodes 30 Day Challenge Day 23-episode you’d like to see again for the first time “Emissary.” I’d love to go on the wonderful journey DS9 took me on again for the first time.

#StarTrek #Trekisodes 30 Day Challenge Day 22-episode that scared you Past Tense. The prescience of this episode is scary- and sad. “Causing people to suffer because you hate them...is terrible. But causing people to suffer because you have forgotten how to care, that's really hard to understand”

#StarTrek #Trekisodes 30 Day Challenge Day 22- episode that shocked you Best of Both Worlds, Part 1. When I first saw this as a kid, the ending blew my mind and it became one of my all-time favorite cliffhangers. Still is. “Mister Worf - fire!”

#RiftTreks Day 9: Temporal rift Voyager and the Aeon, a ship from the future travel through a rift to different times in the past. Janeway and her crew discover that the Aeon was stolen by a named Henry Starling.

#StarTrek #Trekisodes 30 Day Challenge Day 21-favorite two-part episode The Way of the Warrior This was a tough one, but this did so much to propel the series in new directions, while balancing huge action scenes & wonderful character moments. Honorable mention- Best of Both Worlds, Supernova

Normalize pronouncing DOGE as DOUCHE.

Post one of your favorite fantasy films from the 80s 🎥 ⚔️🖤

#RiftTreks Day 8- temporal rift Admiral Janeway, creates a temporal rift using a chrono deflector. Janeway travels back to the Delta Quadrant in the year 2378 on a mission to help Voyager get home sooner. In the process she cripples the Borg.

If music is therapy, who’s your therapist?

#StarTrek #Trekisodes 30 Day Challenge Day 20- episode that is your all-time favorite The Visitor “It was me. It was me all along. I've been dragging you through time like an anchor. And now it's time to cut you loose.”- Jake Sisko

the women who raised me

#RiftTreks Day 7: Rift I’m taking on a different kind of rift in space. Initially there is a significant ideological rift between Sisko and Kira when it comes to Bajor and the Federation. Through both shared and individual growth, they find a unifying path forward together.

#StarTrek #Trekisodes 30 Day Challenge Day 19-episode that’s a guilty pleasure “Fascination.” I see this one pop up on lists of worst DS9 episodes, but I enjoy the off the wall, silly plot. It’s just fun. It’s not really a guilty pleasure, it’s just a pleasure. Lwaxana would approve.

#RiftTreks Day 6: rift The Borg use quantum singularities as interdimensional rifts as a means to enter fluidic space. Once there, they attempt to assimilate a powerful foe, Species 8472, who prove more than a match for the Borg.

#StarTrek #Trekisodes 30 Day Challenge Day 18-episode with a great plot twist The Wolf Inside. The back end of Discovery’s first season, every episode had twists, from Tyler killing Culber to Lorca’s true identity. But Emperor Georgiou’s arrival stands out. "Don't you bow before your emperor?"

In our continued effort to get to know the members of our Bluesky community better, we’re curious… Who are your five favorite FEMALE SINGERS/VOCALISTS of all time? just five 😳🫤 Stevie Nicks Ann Wilson Brandi Carlile Cyndi Lauper Tina Turner

#RiftTreks day 5: Relational Rifts Spock only learned the depth of his father’s feelings for him after Sarek’s death. Spock: Ironically... you may know Sarek better than his own son does. My father and I never chose to meld. Picard: I offer you the chance to touch what he shared with me.

#StarTrek #Trekisodes 30 Day Challenge Day 17-episode you’ve changed your view of “Preemptive Strike.” Having gone back and watched this episode after watching “Imposters,” there is more emotional weight to Ro’s final appearance on TNG. Picard- You broke my heart. Ro- And you broke mine.

I got my order from www.willburrows.art and it made my day. My “friend of Garak” pin is proudly going on my Trek convention bag, and I can’t wait to give this card to the Lwaxana to my Odo. Thanks @bajoran-orbison.bsky.social

#RiftTreks day 4: Relational Rifts Kirk: How could you vouch for me? That's arrogant presumption. Spock: My father requested that I open negotiations... Kirk: I know your father is the Vulcan ambassador, for heaven's sake, but you know how I feel about this…They're animals!

#StarTrek #Trekisodes 30 Day Challenge Day 16- episode in a genre you don’t like “The Fight.” It’s not really a genre, but (for me) Chakotay focused episodes just don’t seem to be firing on all thrusters.

#StarTrek #Trekisodes 30 Day Challenge Day 14-episode in a genre you like Empok Nor-I enjoy suspense and horror, and this episode leans into those genres effectively. “You're a killer, admit it. We both are. Behind your Federation mask of decency and benevolence you're a predator, just like me.”

#RiftTreks day 3: Relational Rifts While DS9 is occupied by the Cardassians & Dominion, Kira leads a resistance. The Female Changeling distracts Odo, who ignores his friend’s struggles for a time, damaging their relationship. “Well, let me tell you something, Odo: we are way, way past sorry.” Kira

#RiftTreks Day 2: Hole in Space The Bajoran Wormhole - a stable passage from the Alpha to the Gamma Quadrant, it brings both opportunities for exploration and great danger. “If the Dominion comes through the Wormhole, the first battle will be fought here. And I intend to be ready for them.”
