I have had a fun and only very slightly COMPLETELY EXHAUSTING day signing Donut Squads all over central (and indeed not-so-central) London. Huge thanks to all the amazing booksellers, and of course to @dfbstoryhouse.bsky.social 🍩

DONUTS VS BAGELS RING TOSS?!?! 🤯

DONUTS VS BAGELS NOUGHTS AND CROSSES!!! Incredible.

One of the finest and funniest comic creations in recent years. Even if you don't have kids, you should really get this. May contain gluten.

Funny, silly, and far smarter than you expect, Donut Squad from @neillcameron.bsky.social is published this week. Another all-ages gem from @dfbstoryhouse.bsky.social theslingsandarrows.com/donut-squad-...

CAN I INTEREST YOU IN A BOOK ABOUT DONUTS? Donut Squad Take Over The World is out TODAY, in bookshops everywhere! linktr.ee/neillcameron

Donut Squad comes out tomorrow and, well, we’ll see what the world makes of it. But someone got an early copy and posted a video on Instagram of their kid rolling around and giggling so much they couldn’t get words out, and that is the ONLY REVIEW I NEED RIGHT THERE 🍩❤️

Hey @neillcameron.bsky.social! Let's goooo!!

Year 6 children have been begging me for this for the past few years. There will be a lot of very happy readers when I tell them this afternoon. Definitely a must have series for UKS2.

I recently read Boss of the Underworld and it blew me away because it was so weird and so funny. What are your recs for books for 7-12ish that are WEIRD and FUNNY. Or even just funny - in the sense of "I laughed very many times" not "I smiled gently" #KidLitUK

Occasionally I will read something and my mind will boggle all over again at the fresh strangeness of the thought: people are still on Twitter

Wish I could travel back and tell depressed teen-to-20something Neill that not ONLY would drawing comics one day be his actual job, but he would manage to somehow end up in a situation where wherever he goes, people lay on doughnuts.

We’ve had the Donut Squad book for a short while and my son has read it so, SO many times already - it’s an absolutely fantastic collection of brilliant strips (+ it’s great fun coming up with your own donut characters!). Can’t recommend it enough!

I don’t care if you like me or don’t like me, all I care is that you change the standard procedure of comic books from one page per day (madness) to one page per week (gladness) Comic artists should be paid four thousand dollars per page and should draw *no more than* one page per week.

One of the few images I frequently share with kids that wasn't created by me is this. I like to reassure them this feeling is universal, and also, that it never goes away. I'm doing final edits on a new book right now and I for sure am feeling like a jacked-up looking inside-out puffin sock today

This book is going to be EPIC! Flo is a massive fan of Donut Squad in the Phoenix comic and can’t wait to see what mayhem ensues in their own book. Funny, anarchic and utterly fab - perfect for fans of Bunny vs Monkey, Dog Man and Grimwood. Preorder now (link below)! 🍩☺️🥯 #BookSky 💙📚 #KidsBooks

Donut Squad comes out in TWO DAYS! And you know what that means? Only two more days of me imploring you to PRE-ORDER YOUR COPY NOW! linktr.ee/neillcameron (Pre-orders help authors, please and thank you)

If you're looking for a book for kids this week, please go out and get Donut Squad - out on Thur. It is genuinely laugh out loud funny, anarchic, joyful and clever. That @neillcameron.bsky.social has a hit on his hands. #KidLitUK www.waterstones.com/book/donut-s...

It always does! All we're measuring is what portion of its made-up gibberish happens to be true! Turns out, a blithering-on all the time clock is right 21% of the time!

I do stand by this, but also Lucky Day was *absolutely fantastic* Doctor Who, so what the hell do I know

In the old days comics writers knew how to end a story.

My son asked me how I was feeling, with Donut Squad coming out this week, and it’s hard to truly explain it to him because he hasn’t seen Seinfeld and so does not know who George Costanza is.

I’m down to just a few copies of FINAL FORM, and I have already talked a couple of people out of buying it because I think it’s probably not the best place to start with the series, so… not *quite* sure how I’ll be spending the last two hours of this comics convention?

Back at Portsmouth comic con today! And look who I met!
