After months of not keeping my end of paying house rent agreement with my dad, today we gave him money for the month plus more toward utilities and he gave me very affirming encouragement and knows that I'm trying. My self esteem got a degree better today.

Spent some money on housewares and a grooming tool. And a feel good purchase of "Full Moon Soup" by Alastair Graham; a children's book that was massively influential on me when I was young. It's a time-lapse story of a spooky, chaotic hotel and chocked full of detail and storytelling.
