I'm really angry that they targeted Simandy, because she's a free CC creator who remains free despite financial struggles. I've already seen people misunderstanding the issue & saying they're deleting all her CC, even files downloaded from Patreon. I hope this doesn't have a bad effect on her.

SimFileShare has also taken action by currently freezing uploads (see screenshot). To add onto @melandcapybara.bsky.social , maybe redundant but, if a zip-file contains a .exe or dmg (for Mac usually used for installing apps). Do not run (Windows) or open & install (Mac)!

Aw crap. It's strongly advised to avoid downloading from SimsFileShare (SFS) for now. Two creator's SFS accounts were hacked (Simandy & TheNinthWaveSims). Some of their files now have exe or bat files included. They're investigating but be careful, especially of older files from retired creators.

Sometimes the best way to learn is just to just start doing it. My first time attempting screenshots I had no idea what I was doing. I didn’t know how to turn off the plumbob and I didn’t even notice when stuff was highlighted (like Dirk and the table) but you gotta start somewhere
