Is your shading making your art look flat? I used to smudge everything, hoping for that pro look… but it made my art more messy. So I simplified it; switched the airbrush, for a simple pen brush, and instantly got better control over my shading. Always start with a simple yet solid foundation! ✨

Made a Pokemon trainer version of my OC Rina with unastrana’s challenge (on IG)! Had to make her a Ground/Physic trainer. Turns out there are only 2 PKM with that combo so I threw in a Reuniclus at the end to balance the composition 😆 ✨ What’s your Pokemon dream team? 👇

Some more tips on rendering fabric! Specifically linen fabric! The texture and irregular shadow edges are key! Linen fibers are thicker and less fluffier than cotton, hence their "coarse" touch #digitalarttips #clothshading #renderingtips #artgrowth
