Watching Lost in Space on MeTV right now. I have to say that I like both of the theme songs of the series. Both of them were composed by John Williams. The first one is a jaunty tune that fits the tone, but the second one is big and adventurous with hints of the greatness to come from this maestro.

You ought to know Janice Burgess, the creator of The Backyardigans. She was also an executive at Nickelodeon where she oversaw the development of Little Bill and Blue's Clues and later served as a writer, story editor, & creative consultant on the revival of Winx Club. #BlackHistoryMonth

I recently found a higher quality version of the Terrifics model and height sheet done by Evan Shaner. It’s always tickled me that it says Plastic Man is 6’8”. I know he’s not usually, (most DC encyclopedias list him as 6’1”) but it’s very funny to think about if he was, naturally

A fun silly movie tonight. I would say more, but the words get stuck in my throat.

Repeat with me: I will speak my truth, even if I lose people. My voice matters, my feelings matter. Staying quiet does not protect me.™️ #blacksky

Because Columbo is better than all of us. He can see clearly through the BS in the world and will get on you when you least expect it. Also, his influence is strong in a pair of recent detective shows, Poker Face and Elsbeth.

Harley Quinn & Elvira Join Forces in a Wild New Crossover Comic

I'm watching the Mister T cartoon, and a thought kind of entered my mind. How come there aren't any dramatic cartoons aimed toward younger audiences? This show is legitimately an action drama on par with other primetime sows of the day, especially The A-Team. A cozy watch at best.

Wait... when did AXS say that Toonami never came back? It's been on Adult Swim since 2012, so nearly 13 years. Longer than AXS was even called AXS (literally two months before HDNet was rebranded as AXS TV).

Just a quick signal boost for those of you who understand what and who you support with your dollars matters.

Quick reminder that Udon Entertainment's Director of Publishing Matt Moylan is a racist piece of shit.

From Pee Wee’s Miss Yvonne to Charlie’s mom on It’s Always Sunny - and many, many more roles - Lynne Marie Stewart was a treasure. A huge loss.

"Oh, he isn't real. He's just a composite face, put together by a computer." Kirby was reading rooms that weren't even built yet.

You'd think the white guy working on Japanese franchises at a company named after a Japanese food would be pro diversity. Just like all the foreign fans of Japanese media.

Not Miss Yvonne. The most beautiful woman in Puppetland. Aww. Well, I'd like to think she and Captain Carl are finally having that date in the great Playhouse in the cosmos.

You ought to know Kyle Baker, a brilliant creator who blends a cartoony style with powerful storytelling in comics. He reinvented the Captain America mythos on Truth, created Why I Hate Saturn, You Are Here, Nat Turner, and The Bakers, and had an award-winning run on Plastic Man. #BlackHistoryMonth

James Cameron's "Silver Surfer."

Stanley Kubrick's "Star Wars"

You know what? And this is me spitballing here, but I think H&I should have a Saturday morning action block of cartoons. Stuff like The Real Ghostbusters, Speed Racer, Superfriends, Mr. T, and, yes, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles when it launches on sibling network MeTV Toons later in the year.

Okay... that's pretty damn cool. These guys really went all out on this project getting not only the North American cast back but also the original Japanese cast of the original series that Samurai Pizza Cats used as the base of the series. That's impressive.
