I have a new devotional just for Lent. I used to live near a Bruderhof community, who were incredibly kind. Their publishing house, Plough, makes some wonderful devotionals and biographies. I especially enjoy them because they focus a lot on Christian anarchist authors.

I will fully admit I don’t get the glitter in ashes for Ash Wednesday thing. Wearing ash is to symbolize mourning and repentance as well as recognizing our mortality. Why is glitter part of repentance? Why is glitter part of death? I honestly don’t understand, rather than old man complaining.

I am a slow gamer and I finally finished Stellar Blade after 30 hours. Yes, you can just look at the character and reduce the game, but you would be missing an incredible hack and slash/RPG. Great story and fighting system. Beating some bosses felt like accomplishments. Great game.
