Just someone that loves the Nintendo Entertainment System, retro gaming, and some good 80’s nostalgia.

Watched Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban at the local AMC tonight. Still holds up extremely well after twenty years and still feels as magical (no pun intended…kinda) as it did back in 2004.

Can’t believe Resident Evil 4 is seriously 20 years old now. Remember it like it was yesterday. It absolutely blew everyone away and deservedly so. Thanks for the great times, Resident Evil 4! youtu.be/B_aX3T1CgvA?...

If you’ve never defeated Nemesis in Resident Evil 3 (the 1999 classic, of course) during the course of the game I highly suggest you try doing it—it is SO satisfying!

Don’t ya just love it when you find a new YouTube channel with a cache of fun content to catch up on? Love this new one—Big Ole Words. youtu.be/lXBhPAOIHW8?...

Very solid lineup of guests from a bunch of different movies. Really wish I could make it!!

I prefer to think of it as we have a refined sense of social interaction—we’ve got no time for phonies, and no wasted energy on putting up a facade.

Chuck E Cheese is seriously so weird. It was AWESOME as a kid to go and play games and have pizza, but those animatronics were on a terrifying level. They could make a game out of that…

Such a cool movie even nearly 45 years later.

“🎵Oh, Christmas tree, Oh, Christmas tree, Oh, Christmas tree, Oh, Christmas tree🎵” 😂

People can appear to have their stuff together and still be struggling — especially this time of the year. Don’t assume someone you know is okay. A call. A text. A card. An invite. Anything might bring a friend or loved one some welcome joy. #MentalHealthMatters 💚

Hot take: I prefer Mega Man 1 to Mega Man 2. Yes. MM2 has a great soundtrack and is an undeniable classic, but something about the original just always draws me in over MM2. youtube.com/shorts/_Uuho...

Good advice. Tough times don’t last forever.

The one NES game that really irritated me not having a save feature was Blaster Master. I love that game so much but it was not only long but also hard-as-nails tough in some parts. youtube.com/shorts/IvtoO...

I was never into the 90’s console wars while they were raging—I just wanted to have fun playing games. I also had a Genesis and it was amazing, though I think I got *slightly* more enjoyment from my SNES. Still, this was a brilliant ad. youtu.be/k7nsBoqJ6s8?...

Very trippy to see John Billingsley from Star Trek: Enterprise in this vid. God bless the cheesiness of the 80’s. 🥰 youtu.be/WYjgHLFZMa0?...

The struggle was real. You had to learn to be strategic and wise with the shots you took. And the photos still usually looked awful. lol

It was a really magical time to be a kid. Tons of shows we weren’t supposed to watch but when Tales From the Crypt came on late on basic cable it was one of those shows you learned to watch on the lowest volume possible. Practical effects >>>> CGI

Never a better time in human history. The apex of human civilization. Lol

Truly earned title of employee of the month. 🫡🥷🏼🐢

Ok, I try to be positive with my posts, but this is one NES game I can legitimately say isn’t good. The Mutant Virus had great music and the story was fun, but the execution was terrible. youtu.be/bfEoAfBk7yc?...

I have tons of good memories spending countless hours trying to beat TMNT on the NES. Still, those kids ain’t getting a PS5 for a loooong ass time. 😁😆

Game programming is waaaay beyond my expertise but it’s incredible how much innovation, talent, and passion went into programming even the most “simple” NES games. youtu.be/sRXXkFzpIPQ?...

Going to the rental store was a special treat that sadly has been phased out of modern life. Convenience is definitely awesome, but man, the feels. Oh, and be kind, rewind. 📺📼

It’s crazy how many NES games had a second quest after the first “main adventure” like Mario Bros. 1 and 3, Castlevanias 1 and 3, and both Zelda games. While the main quest was always amazing, the second quest could be insanely brutal. Anyone here finish the first NES Zelda’s second Quest?
