Kathy Hochul can’t outright fire corrupt Adams. She can call a trial in which she is the judge, jury and prosecutor. The downsides are: there are no rules in place for this trial and she won’t have access to the accumulated evidence. It could take years. The citizens of NYC have to vote him out.
