People of Bluesky! Let's get to know each other better. What is your all-time favourite TV show? Quote share your answer only on GIF form.

Now more than ever.

Classy move. πŸ’š I would love to see the NDP follow suit in Kitchener Center with @aislinnclancy.bsky.social And it's probably a pipe dream but it would be amazing if the two parties could amalgamate with the best of both their policies/candidates & have a new leadership race. #ndp #greenparty

This is a FANTASTIC video and explains beautifully why I believe in boycotts wholeheartedly. Please watch...

@gurdeep.ca is a national treasure, no a universal treasure πŸ’ž

Brand new shipment of Full Moon Fibres yarns have arrived 😍

Why do I feel like we all pictured the same face...

I know boycotts are uncomfortable. I know we don't want to change how we shop, consume content etc but not only are we helping to shift the world with our money and attention away from companies/people doing horrendous things but often we are reinvesting in smaller, local, more ethical companies. πŸ’š

This is fantastic but also underlines DON'T trust mainstream media.

This winter has been no joke but the earth needs it so I focus on that & how good it will be for the growing season. I also honour the folks out canvasing truly for our communities πŸ’šπŸ§‘ in this weather, and keep my @jodisz.bsky.social sign visible. 🀞 @aislinnclancy.bsky.social #ndp #Green

If you're in Waterloo Region and don't want to split the progressive vote, these are your best choices in each riding. These are also the candidates that @coopr84canada.bsky.social endorses. #ONpoli #WRawesome

Day 16 of #fiberuary: I've been trying to get in more reading & I just finished a great book by @beckyblake.bsky.social I also think reading and knitting is better with handmade pottery (as are all things). This is one of my favourite mugs, made by the very talented @bevmcn.bsky.social

We cannot support the state of hunting today. Once, long ago, hunting was how people fed themselves. today subsistence hunting has been largely replaced with thrill killing. With only 4% of mammals being wildlife, it's time to give them a break and end the pretenses of hunting as conservation.

The Indigenous People of North America have decided to go back to calling the Gulf of Mexico, β€œChalchiuhtlicueyecatl”. It is what the Nahuatl People originally called it as it is the domain of the goddess Chalchiuhtlicue, who is assoc w/water bodies, including the Gulf of Mexico.

Thanks to my wonderful LYS (local yarn store) @flyingsquirrelyarn.bsky.social I was able to get the perfect yarn for some future projects and some great advice on the sweater I'm about to cast on- thanks Erin 🧢

American folks this could be a very useful resource:

Boss made a dollar I made a dime That was a poem From a simpler time. Now boss makes a thousand And gives us a cent While he's got employees Who can't pay the rent. So when boss makes a million And the workers make jack That's when we strike And take our lives back

I love texture (day 11 of #fiberuary ). It is why I keep my yarn and rug hooking the fibre in old baskets. It is also one of the reasons I love fibre craft so much. πŸ’š #rughooking #textiles #fibrecraft #fibercraft #craftstudio #fiberuarychallenge

Musk's censorship algorithm on Twitter reduced our audience by about 95% since he bought it. So we moved over to blue sky. Help us build another great following right here where the skies are clear and the water is fine ;-) Please do Follow Retweet & repeat

Looks like my next pair of socks will be scrappy! YAY 😁
