Great analysis.👇 MAHA Report Mostly ‘Data Vibes’ www.mcgill.ca/oss/article/... by @jonathanjarry.bsky.social "It’s an exercise in hypocrisy as RFK Jr’s commission seeks to protect kids while his boss endangers their health." "...a stubborn refusal to confront known answers to important problems."

Me: "[I think] we’re going to go backwards to a time when these infections were spreading routinely and people are going to suffer and die for no good reason. And this is what’s really horrifying." Glad to be the optimist in the room. W/ @caulfieldtim.bsky.social (Paywalled)

I will (briefly) be on CBC Manitoba's Up to Speed this afternoon (at around ~5:05pm Central Time, shortly after the 5pm news), speaking out against RFK Jr.'s harmful disinformation around autism.

Behaviourism does not and CANNOT teach emotional regulation skills.

Students most at risk of being harmed by Positive Behavioural Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and similar behaviourism-based programming are already vulnerable and marginalized: Students in the ethnic minority, students living in poverty, disabled students, and students who are neurodivergent.

I can’t wait to share my research on PBIS and compliance — which absolutely draws from the amazing work of @asv.bsky.social and colleague Rhiannon Kim
