The biological reality of Cory Booker's 25+ speaking on the floor is utterly astonishing. He will suffer great discomfort for it for days to weeks. At every moment, he spoke with relevance and deep purpose. His immense gift deserves our gratitude, yes, and much more. So, PLEASE VOTE! Every time.

Crockett did a nice job of further diluting her own messaging. The exact same statement plus 1 short sentence, "I'm sorry I was inconsiderate and I'll be more mindful in the future", would have stuck the landing, 10/10. So simple. Terrible missed opportunity. Unity is everything right now. Damn.

I decided to rethink the earlier post I just deleted. Crockett had plenty of good material without using a person's disability as the punchline in a derogatory joke. It was weak, and it diluted her better messages. Staying 100% topical is critical. They (we) should all learn the lesson. NOW.

Took a long drive this weekend and saw three teslas with their identifying hardware removed. I get not being able to replace one's car at today's prices. I don't get judgy about that. I do like seeing where the branding used to be. ❤️ Got a 3D printer? Maybe start a replacement hardware business!

Oh noes I’m going to cry 😭 I could not love this more.

Reminder: If you want to consume media that is available at a library without spending money on that media, ta da, library!

Has anyone else here ever watched the old Nowhere Man TV series with Bruce Greenwood? Lately I keep thinking about it.

Speaking for myself: I intend to give my grassroots support when I see effective feasible options to save democracy. That may mean supporting things that are also supported by people I don't respect. The stakes are too high for zero sum thinking right now. I also respect your way, whatever it is.

If I could, I would send you all a slice of this, because it is delicious.

I cooked a thing I saw on "Meghan, With Love" and it was easy and yummy. Single skillet spaghetti. Easy enough for even me. Look at me, making grownup food that's tasty. Old dog, new tricks! (And my house smells soooo good.)
