Another fun find in a used book. This time it was from a Pango order. Unfortunately only one leaf. 😂 #booksky #bookfinds #usedbooks

Some really amazing people with great thoughts and ideas about the world.

The NFL is removing “End Racism” but keeping “Choose Love”? These things are completely interconnected. To choose love, you have to end racism. #NFL #SuperBowl #EndRacism #ChooseLove #BlackSky #SystemicRacism #SocialJustice #RacialJustice #BlackLivesMatter #RacismInAmerica #AcademicSky #authors

WELCOME TO BLACK HISTORY MONTH

Trans Rights Are Human Rights #transrightsarehumanrights

It was the 1960s, and the nation’s only Black TV reporter was stuck between a rock and a hard place. Should he give Malcolm X a platform when other Civil Rights leaders called for nonviolence? Or be “respectable” and stay quiet? The World May Never Have Known Malcolm X ➡️ pushblack.news/366ec4

February is Black History Month in the US, Canada and Germany, and LGBT+ History Month in the UK. I’m queer, trans and half Black. You bet I’m going to be insufferably loud this month, because: BLACK PEOPLE ARE GREAT. QUEER PEOPLE ARE GREAT. BIPOC, TRANS, DISABLED PEOPLE ARE ✨ALL✨GREAT.

We all know bigots use DEI as code for Black people. But what seldom gets mentioned is that the group that benefited from DEI the most are white women.

I've decided to make a new Bluesky account to get myself out of the bubble I was in when there was the Tik Tok scare. Here goes!
