When the U.S. population was about 220 million, the federal workforce was @ 2.2 million. Today, with more than 330 million U.S. residents, the workforce is @ 2.4 million. What's grown are technology, 3rd party non-profit contracts, and for-profit contracts to selfish, greedy a$$h○!es like Musk.
