If you voted for Trump, you helped end international medical research conducted through USAID. In the middle of years-long clinical trials, doctors and researchers were recalled and patients, some with research drugs or devices in their bodies, abandoned. Some of these people will die. Nice job.

I have no big following, but if you noticed I’m not posting, know that I’ve cut out 🦋 and 🧵 from my daily life. No more constant news consumption. My mental health matters more. Hyper-awareness breeds constant anger about things I can’t control. I’ll check in, but not instantly, not anymore. Peace.
