Wow. I hadn't even clocked there were two. Am familiar with Dance Hall at Louse Point but not the other. Will also have to get listening 😁

She's great. Love her track HBW too!

Love this too. So many great musical references in there. Did you ever listen to the PJ Harvey and John Parrish album? This takes me right back to that which I played so much at the time

Ha - how funny! A band worth crossing borders for 👍

Hope you get to see them 🤞. That is the trouble with the international music scene, the bands you like are not always local!! 😁. I'm considering a trip to Belgium later in the year to see Marble Sounds who don't plan to tour the UK!

Managed to see Man/Woman/Chainsaw this week at Five Day Forecast. Very good! Thanks for the original tip off! 😁

So with much surprise a 10 track album has landed with hints of vinyl to follow!?! Early listens are encouraging, with a sound that is similar to that lone demo. Too early to say if I love it, but I already know I love that it exists! open.spotify.com/album/58XutH...

😁. Might head down next week too. Like what I've heard of Chloe Slater but not checked out the other bands yet

Live Sounds at Hello 2025 4 Headliner was Jasmine.4.t with a politically charged set of great tunes. The full band inc strings gave an alt country twang to the set with some great guitar work at the fore. Top track (& NSOL#160); the stunning Skin on Skin open.spotify.com/track/122Frm...

Third act - The Pill An entertaining set from The Pill. Short, sweet & at times not so sweet songs when the killer punchlines hit! Good banter with the crowd too. They finished on Bale of Hay which is a fun-filled romp: open.spotify.com/track/2CR1F5...

Live Sounds at Hello 2025 2 Second on the bill - @dearyband.bsky.social The Old Blue Last was filled to the rafters & Deary delivered an atmospheric set with dreamy vocals & soaring guitars. The Drift (NSOL#159 no less) stood out alongside other heavier moments! open.spotify.com/track/0RZbtC...

Live Sounds at Hello 2025 1 First up - Fuzz Lightyear High octane start to affairs. Fuzz Lightyear were loud, raw and in your face. Shades of Fews guitars and Rage Against the Machine rhythms. Standout track My Body: open.spotify.com/track/6h4l2X...

Was there too. Do you enjoy? Quite an eclectic mix of styles I thought!
