Looking forward to getting my hands on this!

Still amazes me with this hobby. I play a lot of games, yet see a table full of games and don't recognise a single one of them 😅. So much to pick from out there.

A lovely way to end the Easter weekend is getting a good old boardgame out. Let's go! to Japan was the game of choice tonight, and how fun it always proves to be 😊. So much great gameplay in such a small space of time! Wonderful. #boardgames

My friend took an absolute age setting up war of the rings when he came over - trying to find which miniatures were which. He left it here, so I've made it so it will be easier for him next time. I think this is the most over-driven my organisation skills have ever been. #boardgames

I get it... I always hear that the OG Azul is the GOAT. it's the best: untouchable, you might say. But summer Pavilion is an absolute beaut. I put it up there with the original. Absolutely love it. Abbs just bashed me at it as well, so this isn't like I'm on a win high. #boardgames

The kids have really enjoyed having the chance to try Tokaido - this all stemmed from Bo realising he was the recommended age. It's been so great to revisit this - it had defintiely been too long. Such a cute game. #boardgames

When by little lad turned 8, he asked me to check all my games to see which ones he was now old enough to play. The lovely, relaxing Tokaido was one thst hit the criteria! He loved it. I forgot to add the blocking player, oops 🤣. Oh well, gentle entry.... #boardgames

"Oh, shit. We actually need this stuff." www.bbc.com/news/article...

God I love spirit Island. Such a great game to just talk through what you could do & how you can bash those invaders. Love it! Even had time for a quick game of Caper: Europe afterwards. It was lovely to get this out again after a while - such a lovely short game. #boardgames

One ring to rule them all! Yesterday I had a game of War of the Ring with a friend. What a classic, but god your looking through the rule book a lot if you don't know it well 😂. We didn't finish so I've moved to a spare table to hopefully pick back up next week! Clever game. #Boardgames

One of our group said at airecon, "right I'm off to spend a ridiculous amount of money". And he came back with this! I enjoyed the play! But I'd have been disappointed if I'd have paid the price... I've a lot more a lot cheaper that I enjoy a lot more. Still would deffo play again. #boardgames

Last night's offering was Scythe! I always enjoy this so much. We had an interesting gambit card out last night where you can block routes to make others give you resources if they want to pass! Very cool mechanic. We didn't even move them last time, so proved much more used 🤣. #boardgames

As a surprise last addition to my 8YO's birthday I asked a friend to secretly paint all his figurines in My Little Scythe. He did such a wonderful job and Bo very much enjoyed it when he opened the box to find them! #boardgames

What kind of company am I even keeping? #boardgames

Three new print-and-play election games coming soon

Friday night was spent in our wonderful town and my boss asked me to bring some games along - I'm always happy to oblige! Lost Cities & Jaipur were the entertainment for the evening! Good drinks, good food, good games. #boardgames

I've had this borrowed from a friend for a while, and I'm glad to have finally had a go! I like the way White Castle uses dice - play an action with it, and coin transfer changes based on where its placed. We finished this super quick, but I imagine it gets longer as you get better. #boardgames

New Angeles causes so much raucous, chaotic, hysterical debate. There is rare an occasion that creates as much chatter around the table. We debated into ruin with the traitor barely having to do a thing - just as typical a result as you can expect when each player faces one other. #boardgames
