Village certainly caters more toward giving him some character, and having finished it quite a few times now, he's grown to be in my top three.
In fact, I think I've started to like the main ensemble of characters less. The traditional forms, at least; I'm ignoring the remake versions.

In a world where it's easy to build a 500+ game backlog, games like BG3 are a blessing.
I gotta get back into my copy -- back in February I got hit with a bug that wouldn't let me progress, so I've had to begrudgingly put it aside.

I thought it was excellent -- once we got past a lot of the cliche decisions in the first act.
Once it got moving, I loved it. But prior to that, I was just constantly frustrated by the behavior specific characters.

This is gonna sound ridiculous, but the DOA Volleyball games have always been my "cozy" games. Even the recent one on Steam, which is mostly a gach game. You collect and manage. That's it.
Harvest Moon, Stardew, and AC have always been my "I'm doing chores for a while" games. Lol
