the virgin AAA games player: * pays $80 multiple times a month for newgame * has to buy the games his friends buy * gets mad when the game is bad the chad 20 year WoW veteran: * pays $9/mo with yearly subscription * met his wife in burning crusade raid * knows the game is bad, logs in anyway

While I'm still firmly in the camp that Elon and Trump will make up sooner rather than later and nothing much will come of it; everyone who were loudly crying that the split was a "distraction" needs to answer for why the split was not announced yesterday instead of the middle of last week.

The idea that protesters in LA shouldn’t give him a pretext for violence presupposes that he needs or cares about a pretext. If you protesters stay home, then he’s going to keep kidnapping people and use the lack of protests as proof that everyone agrees with him.

Super annoying that there's no way to report/block this account without clicking on it and thus improving their metrics

The ACII Pad was perfect; well-made; very good face buttons, tons of switches that have no practical purpose on 95% of your games; cheap enough that you didn't feel bad for destroying it in a fit of rage because you're seventeen years old and chock full of idiot testosterone

there's a whole world out there of single-session run-based arcade games that it'll take you a good amount of attempts for your first clear and are meant to be replayed that aren't defined by pick-threes and randomized levels and frankly they're a lot more satisfying to beat

Somebody at Microsoft saw Nintendo put an $80 USD price tag on Mario Kart and thought "ah yes we can also do this with our strong IPs" so the first game they are doing this with is the sequel to a game most famous for its name being confused with an indie game that was actually popular.

don’t forget: waymos and other robotaxis are surveillance devices on wheels that police are increasingly tapping for footage

I can't stress enough what a dramatic escalation it would be to deploy the US marines against domestic protesters.

I don't know why every semi-important account on here feels the need to make a statement outside of the very obvious Fuck ICE.

Nope, 80 bucks is just too much, it's a bridge too far. I can't bring myself to accept that price point and I play games as a career. AAA games were already an occasional thing for me, the only game I paid 70 for in recent years was Metaphor and that was a very special exception. I can't justify 80

Snake... the city of Los Angeles is in rebellion... it has been locked down by order of the President-- No one in, no one out. But E3 is going on right now, Snake... and our videogame exclusives are locked inside. Snake... you must get inside.... and escape LA... with Silksong...

Seeing all these individual company upcoming games streams over the past couple days and thinking how crazy it is that once upon a time the industry forced people to fly out to E3 every year to watch these stupid things

RT if you love boobs or if you think ICE should be abolished

DID U KNOW that Shockwave's gun is also Shockwave? i.ibb.co/Cp6nn19P/ima...

Here's a new trailer for Spooky Express, just aired on the #PCGamingShow! Featuring @ghoulnoise.com's fantastic theme song and a peek at a new monster type making their home in the theme park. Play the demo on Steam and wishlist: store.steampowered.com/app/3352310/...

1: Good, I hope they give into the urge. 2: Do we have hard evidence backing this up?

A good sign that a fanbase is well-maintained is when the wiki gets moved off of Fandom.

Almost verbatim, unbelievable

Listen, you can sit there and say something insane like "Outer Worlds 2 will cost $80" all you want, but we all know anyone paying eighty dollars for a Steam game is an idiot. You can *sell* Outer Worlds 2 for $80. We will not be *buying* Outer Worlds 2 for $80.

MEMORIES (1995)

This is also true about the BBQ joint's actual building. It should be called, fairly "a joint". The tables should not match. It should be inside what was clearly like a Pizza Hut in a former life. If that BBQ place is in a nice building it just won't be as good.
