Now that Leonard is back in his homelands & settling in to his own home, many are asking how they can support. Working w/ his health care providers, family & loved ones, we share the following Amazon Wishlist w/ items that will make Leonard’s daily life that much more comfortable. ndnco.cc/LPcare

If you're trying to figure out what to do right now, my advice is to just pick a thing that you think might be useful in some way, however small, and do it. Doing a thing leads you to doing another, bigger thing, and prepares you for that next thing.

integrity celebration! We will face moments where we can do what is easy or stay grounded in our values. What does it take to have this courage? How does any person get there, how would they need to prepare? How can we keep rehearsing for the revolution? #theatreOfTheOppressed

Lovely board game night at our place last night. We played Modern Art and Things in Rings. Much needed fun and play with people that I work and organize with. boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/40...

I am so proud to know the people I know who are finding ways to resist fascism. Even the smallest act of disobedience in service of protecting the most vulnerable matters. Every time you choose love over fear matters. We don't have to do it all, but we can do something. #scienceNotSilence

A growing group of content creators are trying to counteract misleading and false wellness claims online from influencers hawking supplements and unproven remedies.

In a paper I'm reviewing, the authors wrote back a letter with many exclamation points. Rather than seeing this as unprofessional, I find it incredibly delightful. It's like a real person rather than an academic robot is writing back! #belongingInAcademia #solidarityScicomm #peerReview

People are often inclined to think that, if they’ve done nothing “wrong,” they won’t get caught up in the government’s surveillance dragnet. But in simply exercising your First Amendment right to criticize the Trump administration, you, too, could be placed under government watch.

It's been such a lovely scholar visit to St. Thomas University. We've used Theatre of the Oppressed to explore how journalists might find their way into solidarity with communities. I've met amazing, caring people and eaten delicious, yummy pizza. #theatreOfTheOppressed

Don't do this administration's work for them by coming up with justifying and rationalizing arguments for institutions and organizations to cooperate. This includes the justifications for why the Democratic party has to "find common ground." If you even start to think this, slap yourself.

Honor for the person in a thankless bureaucratic position that is going the extra mile to make sure that fascist bullshit isn't being perpetuated through them. I see your heroism, doing what is within your power. I see you refusing to be a part of oppression, even at cost to yourself.

as Otpor taught us to say to those on the "other side": "You'll have your chance to join us." We'll be here, ready to welcome y'all in.

There are people in motion everywhere. Absolutely everywhere.

People who write about "this is the wrong fight to pick," never ever actually fight for anything. Feel free to ignore them.

Just going to continue to uplift ways that people can take action and block people in my mentions who bust in like the Koolaid person to say that x, y, z 'won't work.' I want to hear what YOU are doing. If you want to share that, I'm here for it. Everything else is just noise.

This is harrowing. Long read about what's happening because of DOGE. A friend of mine posted this in a group chat. They're a contractor in the US fed space. www.bloodinthemachine.com/p/the-federa...

just like my partner and I "make visible" the labor we do around the house ("I swept the floor!"), @ayanaeliza.bsky.social's v-day love letter to NOAA and the EPA makes visible all these agencies do for us. There's so much at stake

Lol they still haven’t fixed it either
