The stock market is tanking so badly it almost feels like we are being governed by someone who went bankrupt six tim— Oh wait.

#WhereAreDems Jesus Christ... DO something!

hey quick question does Goliath win in that story

Surprise, Surprise.

When I was a teacher, my students and I always took time this month to honor the generations of Black Americans who fought against injustice to achieve equal rights. May we all reflect on our past as we continue working to build a society that lives up to its democratic ideals.

During #BlackHistoryMonth, we're celebrating some of the greatest players in our history. The Cobra will be inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2025.

Today marks the start of #BlackHistoryMonth Join us as we honor and celebrate Black Excellence and the Impact that this community has made in shaping a brighter future.

Time for real protests.

Might I suggest now being a good time to rethink your LA Times subscription.

I mean, I am optimistic but how far will it go before it ends?

So gratifying to see the word I’ve used for Trump for 14 yrs finally gain currency. Trump is stupid. www.nytimes.com/2025/01/30/o...

@reverendwarnock.bsky.social: "That [Trump] would use this moment - when bodies are still literally on the bottom of the Potomac and families are being notified - to advance his agenda of attacking DEI and Democrats speaks volumes. Not only is it shameful, quite frankly it's dangerous."

"None of this is unusual for wannabe authoritarians. It’s a pretty standard part of their playbook. It may simply seem unusual here in America because we have limited experience with attempted authoritarian takeovers of power in our democracy. Until now." www.thebulwark.com/p/a-wannabe-...

Serious question for Republicans: has Donald Trump ever taken responsibility for anything bad that's ever happened while he was in charge? Has he ever shouldered the blame for anything that's gone wrong?

Yeah, how about not dissolving the air safety advisory commission at the FAA. As your team did last week.

THIS is how you communicate, folks

Trump wants to distract you from the fact that he gutted the Aviation Safety Committee and ousted the FAA administrator last week. Don’t let him.

We all have our own priorities.

I swear to God if they take away my PBS...

Day Ten: Took a few days off to reevaluate my egg consumption. Eggs prices really are insane. I don't care who is to blame, but we need help. At what point do we say enough is enough? Genuine question.

@normeisen.bsky.social: “We have independent inspectors general. That's what IG stands for… They're there to make sure that the public interest is served... This is a nakedly illegal action, because Donald Trump doesn't want that oversight.”

Clever phrasing there, WAPO. This is why I cancelled my subscription. Tell. The. Actual. Truth. He DID break the law.

Absolute truth.

Did he really think they would they just be cool with this?

Day Six: If the last six days haven't been enough for everyone... The time to be passive is over. Resist.

“You don’t have to be a person of faith to trust that innate human capacity to channel love, goodness, and real strength into our own lives and into the world.” A conversation with Reverend Mariann Budde.

ICE said in a statement that federal agencies have started immigration enforcement operations in Chicago, as the Trump administration seeks to ramp up arrests and deportations.

Jesus Christ.

Will this change anything? No. It's disturbing his for four years many, many so called leaders have fell in lockstep with MAGA. Why the dissent all the sudden?

“The deal is considered one of the worst that banks agreed to finance since the 2008 financial crisis.”

Important to remember.

Trump abruptly fires multiple inspectors general, potentially in violation of federal law. www.msnbc.com/top-stories/...

We have to stop dividing our problems into “left and right" and start seeing our problems like “top vs bottom.” 737 billionaires in the U.S. have a combined wealth of 5.5 trillion. And they funneled it out of the middle class. Then Trump keeps us fighting with each other while they steal more.

Day Four: I ate Yogurt. So that was nice. I also learned that we better not have a volcano eruption or tornado because I guess FEMA is a bad. How? I dunno. That's just what I heard from a "very stable genius". His words.

Trump is considering abolishing FEMA and forcing states to deal with natural disasters. “I’d rather see the states take care of their own problems,” he said. I wonder how Florida, Texas, Louisiana, North Carolina & South Carolina feel about “taking care of their own problems” without federal help.

Rather curious, isn't it?

I will never get how a large number of people in this country can know he pulls this all the time and just shrug, go about their business and act like this isn't an issue.

The past several days have proven without a shadow of a doubt that Project 2025 is real and underway. And those who warned America about it were right.

BREAKING: Sen. Lisa Murkowski won't support Pete Hegseth as Defense secretary, becoming the first Republican to oppose a Trump Cabinet pick.

She said, “May I ask you to have mercy Mr. President on those in our communities whose children fear that their parents will be taken away." If Mike Johnson thinks that’s “radical,” perhaps he has a fundamental misunderstanding of his own religion.

Day Three: Twitter seems to be losing users. I can't possibly imagine why. It's not like it's being run by a bigoted man-child desperate for validat....oh wait. I get it. I get it now! Today makes way more sense.
