If you want elected Democrats to reach regretful Trump voters, not to mention the tens of millions of much more important non voters, you give them an affirmative case for how you plan to improve their lives materially. And not some means-tested half measures either.

It’s so awesome that the inciting incident in Alex Garlands Civil War was the president “disbanding the FBI” when our reality gets a fully corrupted FBI led by a QAnon guy. I’d happily take the disbanded FBI over the gestapo bullshit we’re probably in for. (And I hope Garland feels like a dummy)
