Older folks will remember the Cold War term "Kremlinology"—attempts to piece together from various clues the truth about the power struggles inside the Kremlin. Well, the fact that Kash Patel is the first Trumpy person to stand up to Musk in public is FASCINATING, Kremlinologically speaking.

Anti-union people should definitely keep leading with arguments like 'look at these disgusting plebs who have secured decent wages and conditions via militancy'.

Always love a paper that explores the spheres of the political and purportedly non-political and the work that such moves do 👇👇👇

Keith Haring died of AIDS aged 31 on 16 Feb 1990. One of his last works, Unfinished Painting, was deliberately incomplete, reflecting the devastating, unquantifiable loss to the arts due to AIDS. #LGBTplusHistoryMonth

Got the chance to work on this important research that shows inequalities in being eligible for the NDIS using the NDIS's own data. theconversation.com/ndis-reforms...

Read this, and remember that this government had the perfect policy window to end this tragic workfare system. But instead of worrying about the poor, they decided to care about the rentiers who profit from them.

The right keeps making clear how all our fights are connected. We need to make that clear in how we fight our fights.

The IRS was a simple test for DOGE: was it really interested in efficiency and state capacity? If so, you support the tax enforcement, the biggest ROI in govt. Or did it want to minimize parts of the state that bothered billionaires? We have our answer. open.substack.com/pub/donmoyni...

Last year my VC got a $200K payrise on top of her existing $1m/year (20%!!). This week I heard about new internal rules that will see key professional staff lose their jobs. I wonder why she thinks her payrise is more important than retaining key university workers.

In #SGBV news this week... 1. Research has found a link btwn #climateChange & #VAW, where #DFV increases during & after heatwaves; & that #women are abused by employers if their work slows during extreme heat. #endVAW www.context.news/climate-just...

Not a top reason why it's all collapsing, but the MPA (an advanced degree in governance) not being treated as prestigiously as the MBA, MD or JD has created one more exploitable gap for the right to destroy government. We only value profit-driven education. Public service is always an afterthought.
