I sprayed a cloud of deodorant in the air then rolled into a vent on the floor. Then I snapped to get a guards attention and when he walked over the vent to investigate, I slammed a walkie talkie onto the wall to emit sparks and ignite the cloud, exploding him but keeping me safe. 10/10 game

Didn't know much about Valnet until today, but reading them call Polygon "a premier voice in gaming and entertainment media" while also laying off the staff that makes it such tells me about all I need to know. If anyone affected needs anything from me or just wants to scream, my DMs are open. ❤️

Listen to Shawn! And if you have played and love it, leave a review on Steam! It’s really helpful. And if you don’t, I guess you can still do that and that’s valuable info too and I’m not your dad so I can’t tell you what to do but hey look over there it’s a bunny ok bye

Starting today, Wanderstop is on sale for LudoNarraCon 🎉 Pick up the game with a 20% discount until May 8th ~ and be sure to check out ALL the games featured! store.steampowered.com/app/1299460/...

Who among us hasn’t this happened to IRL?

Soap *and* bananas?!?!

last chance to request a code for what @lewisgordon.bsky.social for @theverge.com called "Some of the finest free-form stealth since Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" Creators: docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1F... Media: You should know our inbox Review: www.theverge.com/games-review... Out Wed!

Reviewed Skin Deep for @theverge.com, a manic hyper-pop reimagining of classic immersive sims. Chung and the gang kinda knocked it out of the park. www.theverge.com/games-review...

Skin Deep is an immersive sim that riffs enthusiastically on everything from Die Hard to 2001: A Space Odyssey, but it also has its own voice. Our review: bit.ly/3ENM6hO

The boat can leave now. Tell the crew.

I was trying to explain to a friend the time Rockstar sent out Manhunt-branded straight jackets to games journalists and went searching online for an image of it. Found a Manhunt fan site that had a bunch of promo images on it!

That was an eventful 36 minutes of being a video gamer person. Managed to grab one from Target and a second one for my partner (who rage quit her own Target attempt 30 minutes ago) from Best Buy.

Remember when Nintendo let us sign up for pre-order interest? You'd think they'd have opened those up/let folks know if they were selected before... this?

I refreshed the page at midnight. LOL

Might mess around and get another hairless sphinx.

It's really happening!

Are you a 3D level designer with some coding chops? Do you enjoy working at a small studio and with all disciplines? Do you want to make weird and wonderful games with the folks who made Outer Wilds? Then we might be looking for you! Apply today! 🚀 www.mobiusdigitalgames.com/jobs.html

For no reason at all, totally unrelated to any Bluesky discourse happening, I’d like to recommend a horror novel I read not too long ago.

Finished Karma: The Dark World, a game maybe lots of people are overlooking because of… that name. It borrows a lot from other media, but it’s really quite visually stunning with some very cool, mind-bending sequences alongside weird, interesting world building.

What a blast visiting Annapurna today! The VHS tape collection behind us is mind blowing! 🤯 @therianamp.bsky.social

a film that takes place where you’re from

You definitely wanna check out Skin Deep.

If this doesn’t feature infinite spawning birds that knock you off small ledges, is it really a Ninja Gaiden game?

We don’t give out 10s lightly, but it's hard to deny that Lushfoil Photography Sim from @lushfoil.bsky.social is special. Whether you're a photography pro or a beginner, there's something to love. Explore freely or hunt collectibles—how you approach the lush landscapes is up to you.

I decided to browse the Blue Origin Instagram, and it’s giving future dystopia hellscape video game environmental storytelling energy where you pick up a tablet, read it, and you’re like “well obviously this was gonna happen, huh?” then cough blood as you put your oxygen mask back on.

You'll read Lushfoil reviews written by gaming press, but don't miss the reviews from camera/photography media, with a lot of really jaw-dropping in-game photos taken by the author. 😍 petapixel.com/2025/04/14/l...

New Dev Dive interview! I had the pleasure of chatting with Temi Olujobi and Steven Margolin from @ivyroadgames.bsky.social about their work on the endlessly charming game Wanderstop. We explore the game design and art behind 2025's boldest cozy game. youtu.be/anIOldaMd0c #indiegames #gamedev
