One of my clients is exhibiting at the SuperAI conference in Singapore and had a spare ticket, so invited me to come along. If you don’t have blue LEDs and a DJ, can you really call yourself a corporate conference?

I spent most of today running back and forth between various scans/tests. No relief in sight! I'm basically deaf in one ear atm, and it's really uncomfortable, I'm not sure how I'll be able to sleep.

I watched Mountainhead last night. Enjoyed it, but modern satire just hits way too close to home. It’s hard to laugh at a satirical take on something high-stakes because it’s so close to what’s going on IRL at the same time.

Has there been any mention of OpenAI acquiring or launching their own browser? Given the huge amount of money they've raised and their very sticky brand, seems like a logical way to boost revenue (via ads) and secure a foothold against the competition (Google).

I'm finally pulling the trigger and updating to macOS 15. I've been burned way too many times before with broken updates, I now leave it for as long as possible before upgrading. Wish me luck.

After repeated attempts to find an easy/quick way to view KTX files, I gave up and built my own: ktxviewer.com Currently only KTX1 supported for 2D textures and cubemaps. I'll probably add support for KTX2 and mipmaps soon.

Fixed the stencil buffer highlights (I changed the code-gen for enums which was causing the incorrect facing to be applied). I don't really like this approach - create new instance the highlighted object, scale up slightly...
