The root that tears apart your foundation begins as a seed of distrust, hate, and blame. The seed that grew into a dictatorship in Europe didn’t arrive overnight. It started with everyday Germans mad about inflation and looking for someone to blame.

I would normally have more to say about it being a bad idea to let Boeing relax its safety standards but... you know what? Just this once, go for it.

Funny, I thought the biggest fraud in human history was Elon Musk

It makes absolute sense to me that the apartheid guy who defends the German far-right and has dozens of kids who he keeps in a ranked preference hierarchy just to spread his “superior genetics” would pull support for cancer patients

It's honestly kind of incredible how much of right wing masculinity is just the performance of pants wetting cowardice.

Trump's CFPB, now under the command of billionaire hedge fund manager Scott Bessent, has halted the Biden admin's rule to ban medical bills from credit reports. It's been estimated that the rule would help improve the credit scores of 15 million people. Some populist, huh?

Let's say there's "waste" and "fraud" in the government. Well that’s why every department had an inspector general to find and stop it. But guess what? Trump fired most of these independent auditors who should be insulated from politics. None of this is about waste and fraud.

Another example of Trump/Musk policy killing people around the world. In the Thai-Myanmar border migrant camp Umpiem Mai, home to more than 10,000 displaced people, staff departure triggered by USAID cuts, forced sick patients to return home and multiple patients, relying on oxygen support, died.

Elon Musk is a terrible president.

Too real, Pitchbot. Too. Real.

NEW: WIRED has identified six young men—all apparently between the ages of 19 and 24, according to public databases, their online presences, and other records—who have little to no government experience and are now playing critical roles in Musk’s DOGE project. By @telliotter.bsky.social

REPORTER: Is there an acting FAA director? DUFFY: *walks away* (The FAA director resigned on the day of Trump's inauguration under pressure from Elon Musk)

I missed this entirely: The FAA Administrator criticized Space X’s safety record and threatened fines. Musk demanded he resign. He did. On January 20th. www.thedailybeast.com/faa-chief-mi...

This thread. I AM DECEASED.

I think maybe some new Trumpers like Ms. Leavitt need a reminder: when the President orders you to do something illegal, it is still an illegal act. He may be immune from prosecution, but you are not.
