Since the IRS is ignoring a collective bargaining agreement with the NTEU, the union covering IRS workers, then the IRS could just decide to cancel INSTALLMENT AGREEMENTS or CANCEL agreed to OFFERS IN COMPROMISE. Maybe the IRS and US Government can't be trusted to stand by its word. Honor is GONE!

The IRS recalled all the phone people to work in the office starting Monday March 24th. But they also provided an "ad-hoc" telework agreement for overtime and in case of imminent weather events causing a closure of the office. So if the IRS feels TELEWORK is BAD why would they allow it all?

Just a fair warning if you call the IRS ask the rep if they are sharing a "seat" with another IRS rep. You MAY be able to HEAR the SSN's and personal information of some other taxpayer. They want all IRS call center employees in the office full time. They don't have the seats though!
