Rewatching Natsume's Book of Friends. I forgot how calm and melancholy the first season is.

Quote with a game you've played multiple times!

Look at this cute little painting from my beloved, @willowflora.bsky.social!

Did a little experiment with mixing my main paint colors on the page. I think it turned out nice, though the colors are really hard to photograph.

I'll have a backlog until I'm literally dead.

Trying to learn HTML with freecodecamp. One of the projects is very, very hard for me so I dropped it for months. Came back, still have the exact same issue and may have to redo the whole thing to try to learn what I'm doing wrong

Decided to play Devil May Cry 1. I am better at the game but that spider boss is still rough. I had it down to a sliver of health and then I got stuck on a pillar and died. The architecture is the real enemy in that fight. 3+ deaths to getting stuck or camera changes.

My poor, tortured heart is at ease any time I see a device that still has a 3.5 headphone jack 🥲

No idea if I want the Switch 2 yet, since I buy consoles based on games. However, it does still let me play in handheld mode which is my preference. Some thoughts: 1st, getting rid of the rail system for joycons is good since my OLED feels very fragile at the rails.

Decided to watch Dandadan. It's really, really good. The characters are charming and the animation is gorgeous. Episode 7 broke my heart. I felt so sorry for that yokai and her daughter. The kids all felt like real kids too, exactly how I expect kids that age to act.

What are some of your Gaming Pet Peeves? Here are mine: 👾 Always online for single player games 👾 Pay to win systems 👾 Items or quests that are locked with no warning 👾 Characters that run off with your equipment with no warning 👾 Moon logic in point and click adventure games

Given that Link's Awakening got a remake, I'm really hoping Oracle of Ages/Seasons is next! I liked Awakening as a kid but I spent so much time playing the Oracle games. Being able to continue your quest and see different content was so mind-blowing to me.

My absolute favorite deck in Pokemon TCG Pocket right now is my lightning deck. Pikachu EX, Zapdos EX, Magneton, and Zebstrika have made the latest event super easy. EX cards are pretty OP anyway, but being able to pick off benched Pokemon and stack energy is a game changer.
