“Operation Whirlwind” What’s Happening Now? In 2025, Operation Whirlwind was launched under Interim U.S. Attorney Ed Martin to investigate alleged threats against employees of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

Worth reading the part about who was sent by the FBI to look at his belongings after his death. It is truly odd. It is a big world, but the professor they picked has a very familiar name. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nikola_...

Musk, Vance and their support for the anti-American, pro-Russian German far-right From Jamie Kirchik www.nytimes.com/2025/02/22/o...

After a month of pretty polite conversations on my street, with people who were cheerleading the new agenda, and asking whether they feel good about flying a flag and wearing a hat that represents the job loss, the loss of healthcare, and the fear most people have, the flags and hats are gone now.

A defining policy battle is about to come to a head in this country. The Republican budget will force everyone - especially Congress and the White House - to make plain whether they are prepared to harm the rest of us in order to fund tax cuts for the wealthiest.

I did get to ask a local red hat enthusiast out in the street today whether he knew exactly how many Nazis were in his movement since both the populist hero and the tech hero of his movement are doing Nazi salutes now. The response was not surprise, so I pointed out that I hate Nazis, for reasons.

From now on, I will be asking every single red hat enthusiast how exactly they feel about removing the medical research that a member of my household was pinning all of their hopes for a healthy life on? I think it is fair to individually ask all 80 million of them, in person, if I get the chance.

Here's an idea, Dems: Explain to America, including maga, that the end goal of Edolf's systems access & government firings is to replace every single one of those jobs with robots he makes. That might not sit well? @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social @schumer.senate.gov @wyden.senate.gov @aoc.bsky.social

I am happy to say that I have received an invitation to a community meeting designed to bring the diverse community I live in together, which appears to have come from a more powerful person in the community, who has an assistant that I discussed the idea with just last week, so that is good news.

So incredibly heartened by my colleagues who are fighting like hell for a world where people have access to the arts and humanities, not because it serves STEM, but because this is about nourishing our humanity

I have been trying out conversational approaches in real life talks with people who are cheering for the destruction of DEI. It seems like if you directly ask these cheerleaders why they want to remove basic human rights to work, education, and healthcare from their fellow Americans they shut up.

wearing sunglasses inside and following an event where he at times had a hard time speaking coherently, Elon Musk walks off the CPAC stage waving around a chain saw. this is the guy currently running our government. Congrats, America!
