That smile! Fierce beastie. #italiangreyhound #poppytheiggy

We need to build a new opposition movement that is strong enough and durable enough to weather the attacks coming from Trump and the GOP in the years ahead. I hope you watch, consider and share. www.youtube.com/watch?v=3bCh...

I love these kinds of bundles, especially because the ebooks you receive aren't tied to a platform where they might just disappear. They are yours! Use the sliders though to make sure more money goes to the charities...

Looks like the leaders on the right have studied this history. What a horror story playing on periodic repeat.

It's important to still purchase physical media when you can. Learn why:

Enough GOP pearl clutching over legal norms and Biden’s pardon. They nominated and elected a FELON. They have no credibility on the question of respect for the rule of law.

The ears point the way. #Italiangreyhound

Trump's Cabinet appointments are shocking, but part of a plan. We should be wary of shock, which excuses inaction. We have to get through the surprise and the shock to see the design and the risk. snyder.substack.com/p/decapitati...

Spending a month on Bluesky has created a whole new model of a fight we need to be having right now. Not liberal vs. conservative or whatever, but respect vs manipulation. I am tired of being manipulated everywhere I go. That’s why I like it here, I feel like I’m in charge for once.

Anyone who paid attention in Ben Stein's econ class (Anybody? Anybody?) knows tariffs raise prices. Unfortunately so does increased demand before tariffs hit. Experiencing this with procuring laptops now, but I'm sure there are other goods too.

I think this book is the one I’d recommend to every single woman. Teenage girls need to read it. Start early. Women have been socialized completely out of trusting our instincts. I tweeted yesterday that emotions are a COMPASS. And you should not suppress them This book will stay with you #booksky

Chef José Andrés has been to Ukraine and seen things there first hand. Now he’s invited Joe Rogan to go there with him, instead of spout Russian disinformation. Class act.

I stopped using twitter in 2021 because it was stressing me out. I deleted my account when Elon acquired it and the CISO quit. I don't use other social media. I have tried to keep my rl identity separate from my social media one. All this leads to a very quiet profile; pros and cons, I suppose.

I’m an ex sex crimes prosecutor. I can attest it’s degrading to have a rape kit done. If an alleged victim submitted to one, I knew we had a real rape on our hands when I prosecuted cases.

Glory to heroes. Call out the Russian tactics that have been too successful - especially sowing division and spreading propaganda.

Among other things, it's an invaluable source of government documents that get torn down with some new administrations.

The Biden-Harris admin capped credit card late fees. A Trump-appointed judge blocked it. The Biden-Harris admin banned noncompete clauses. A Trump-appointed judge blocked it. The Biden-Harris admin changed OT pay rules to include more workers. Guess what happened next?

Have some puppy joy.

Don't obey in advance.

Re ethical behavior in this dystopian existence we're in: Civil disobedience can sometimes be against the law, but it is ethical if the law is unethical. In fact it's a moral obligation in some extreme instances. The demonization of dissent and protest is unamerican (even if is common historically).

Weary. I am weary of living through history.
